History

Dave French is Sales-Lens. He spent 35 years in enterprise software and technology sales. His roles spanned from System Engineer to Competitive Analyst, from Account Executive to Business Development, from Sales Manager to Senior Executive across start-ups and the largest software companies in the world.

Dave has closed hundreds of millions of dollars of software business. His experience includes:

  • Closing the largest software order in company history at the 13th largest software company in the world.

  • Being recognized as “Rookie of the Year” at two different public software companies.

  • Finding and closing the first customer in the world at two separate start-up software companies - booking several hundred thousand dollars of initial business.

  • Finishing his software sales career as the #9 worldwide Account Executive at the 7th largest software company in the world.

  • Building and managing Sales teams from the ground up.

  • Constructing and presenting an investment presentation leading to $25 million in initial Venture Capital investment with a total investment of $50 million.

Dave has “retired” but works on a limited basis to assist entrepreneurial engineers that would like to gain a sales perspective on their product positioning, pricing, pitches, demonstrations, and sales messaging. He can put your product under a “Sales-Lens.”
